Latin America's iOS Tycoon Games Performance in Q4 2020

In the fourth quarter of 2020, Latin America's iOS platform saw notable performance among top tycoon games. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these engaging simulation titles.

Playrix's Township experienced a significant increase in downloads, starting the quarter with around 3.6K and peaking at over 16K towards the end of November. Weekly active users followed a relatively steady trend, fluctuating around the 100K mark, ending the quarter with a slight increase to around 96K.

Supercell's Hay Day also showed growth in downloads, rising from 6.7K to a high of over 15K in the week leading up to Christmas. The game's weekly active users saw an upward trend, starting at approximately 141K and reaching over 163K by the end of December.

My Cafe — Restaurant Game by Melsoft saw its downloads more than double, jumping from 6.8K to nearly 19K in the last week of December. The title's active user base saw a gradual increase throughout the quarter, climbing from around 36K to 37K.

Electronic Arts' The Simpsons™: Tapped Out had its downloads peak at over 10K in mid-October, with a closing rise to 7.3K in the final week of December. The game maintained a steady base of weekly active users, hovering around the mid-60K range throughout the quarter.

Lastly, SimCity BuildIt, another title from Electronic Arts, showed a robust end-of-quarter performance with downloads leaping from 5.4K to nearly 10K. The game's active users showed a significant increase from approximately 72K at the beginning of the quarter to over 82K active users by the end.
